The value of recognition
We rarely remember our salary. We remember the person who saw us when no one else did. Recognition is one of the strongest — and most underrated — forces in a working life.
When people are recognized, they don't just become happier. They become braver. More generous. More willing to go the extra step, because someone noticed the last time they did.
The opposite is also true. When effort meets silence, energy fades. When it fades long enough, people leave.
SPITO exists to make it easier to say what too few of us say often enough: thank you. I saw it. It mattered.
